Skillins Greenhouses is a true Maine tradition. Our fifth-generation Maine family business was founded in 1885 by Alexander "Pa" Skillin to provide seedlings and produce to the local area. The growth of Skillins over the years has mirrored the growth of Falmouth and its surrounding community. After World War II, as Falmouth changed from fields and pastures into a town of fine homes, Skillins expanded into a landscaping, greenhouse, and floral business. Our Brunswick and Cumberland locations, along with our Web site, make our selection of plants, gardening items and special gifts available to people all around Maine and the country.

Today, we produce many of our seasonal crops, from mums to poinsettias. And at our beautiful Mountainview Farm, Christmas trees, shrubs, and evergreens ensure the future of this Maine tradition.
